Meet the Lifeguards
This year we will be welcoming back Jessica Klein and Marissa Sparks as head lifeguards.  Jessica has worked at the pool for the past 7 years.  She will be attending The Aveda Institute in the fall.

Marissa has also worked at the pool for the past 7 years.  She has been attending Central Washington University, pursuing a teaching degree.  She plans to teach English and HIstory at the high school level.

We have a great group of guards that these two will be working with, all striving to make this a fun, safe summer at the pool:

Evan Underbrink (Gonzaga)
Evan Phillips (WSU)
Sarah Heindel (church internship)
Laura Nelson (Inglemoor Senior)
Rachel Nelson (Inglemoor Sophomore)
and Samantha Andrews (Cascadia).

We would like to congratulate oru 2 guards, Tanner Klein and Nick Farley.  Both graduated from Juanita High School this spring.  Tanner is joining the Navy and will train to become a Diver.  Nick will be attending the University of Vermont.

We have 2 certified lifeguards on duty at all times.  No one under the age of 7 will be allowed in the deep end without an adult.  A swim test will be given to all other young swimmers before being allowed in the deep end.  Children who are 9 and older and have passed the swim test may come to the pool by themselves.  Artificial swimming aids are only allowed in the pool when accompanied by an adult.  Click here for a complete list of pool rules in PDF format or visit the front desk for a copy.
